Steering Committees

Steering Committees

The DFRWS Steering Committees provide guidance for the organization of Digital Forensics Conferences and strategic initiatives, maintaining a longer-term roadmap and institutional memory. The Steering Committees focus on strategic decisions such as selecting locations, developing regional strategy, and identifying OC members. It also preserves continuity by remembering past decisions and successful practices, particularly as Organizing Committee membership may change significantly between events. Coordination between regional Steering Committees allows for sharing best practices, innovative ideas, and lessons learned across events, ensuring a broader perspective on improving the overall event series. The Steering Committees also act as a bridge between the Organizing Committees and the Board of Directors.
